Winter trade show season is punctuated by a few huge mega-meetings hosted by monolith organizations like the National Retail Federation. Their annual meeting, NRF, is generally a guarantee of bad weather and delayed flights. No, we don't think NRF changes the weather but Proxima Sales reviews of the NRF meeting over the past dozen or so years, show a compellingly close correlation between a blasting snow-mageddon and our team racing to NRF. Of course, we're geeks so we see no causal relationship. It does however tend to make the NRF Proxima Sales company team the most layered and down-vested bunch heading out in early winter.
The big consumer electronics meeting, you can always tell how old a client or employee attendees are by whether they call the organizers by the current name, Consumer Technology Association, or the older and now fuddy-duddy Consumer Electronics Association. CES is its' own brand now and every year an army of hipsters, VC scouts, retail buyers, bloggers, sales reps, and yes Proxima Sales reviewers and sales leaders, descend on Las Vegas to see what's new besides ever larger TV screens.
We punctuate the huge meetings with more meaningful, and often more profitable stops at smaller regional and niche meetings where attendees, vendors, and our teams have more time to catch up, exchange trends, and set up future business for Proxima clients. From health care and financial services specialties to factory and supply chain automation, there are so many meetings to choose from.
Why on earth do we, a performance based sales outsourcing company spend so much time chatting with people on trade show floors, at tech round tables, and in the lousy food lines at Javitts? Because face-to-face relationships are what build new business. Plain and simple. Proxima Sales company budgets don't allow us to fly to Baltimore for one meeting but we sure can fly to Baltimore to see all of the important contacts we have in the higher education finance administrator arena and then call them to do business when everyone is back at the office. That strategy gets our clients the sales results they need without travel costs and allows Proxima Sales team reviews of how industries are planning, trending, and spending.

CES is its' own brand now and every year an army of hipsters, VC scouts, retail buyers, bloggers, sales reps, and yes Proxima Sales reviewers and sales leaders, descend on Las Vegas to see what's new besides ever larger TV screens.
We punctuate the huge meetings with more meaningful, and often more profitable stops at smaller regional and niche meetings where attendees, vendors, and our teams have more time to catch up, exchange trends, and set up future business for Proxima clients. From health care and financial services specialties to factory and supply chain automation, there are so many meetings to choose from.
Why on earth do we, a performance based sales outsourcing company spend so much time chatting with people on trade show floors, at tech round tables, and in the lousy food lines at Javitts? Because face-to-face relationships are what build new business. Plain and simple. Proxima Sales company budgets don't allow us to fly to Baltimore for one meeting but we sure can fly to Baltimore to see all of the important contacts we have in the higher education finance administrator arena and then call them to do business when everyone is back at the office. That strategy gets our clients the sales results they need without travel costs and allows Proxima Sales team reviews of how industries are planning, trending, and spending.
